Four careful steps

How to measure

1Place a strip of clear tape across the widest part of your natural nail.
2Mark both sidewalls where your nail meets the skin.
3Lay the tape flat against a ruler and measure the distance in millimetres.
4Repeat for both hands and choose the larger measurement when they differ.

When the numbers are close

Between sizes? Start with the larger fit.

Nail widths can differ between hands. Use the larger measurement for each finger. A slightly wider press-on may be carefully refined at the side edge, while a tip that is too narrow can feel uncomfortable and leave part of the natural nail exposed. Product-specific fit notes always take priority over this standard chart.
