Short does not mean plain: a short set carries colour, shine and detail just as well as a long one, at a length that is easy to get used to. It is also a good length for trying adhesive tabs, which suit shorter wear and quick changes.
A short tip leaves little room to hide a gap at the sides, so measure each natural nail at its widest point and check the size chart. If a nail falls between sizes, start with the larger fit.
